Although the outdoor camping equipment that I got was really good, it was completely inappropriate for the purpose. It was too heavy, too hot, and too bulky. Having the wrong outdoor camping equipment on a rock climbing trip can be very dangerous. Every spare pound that you are carrying counts, so taking too much stuff up with you is always a bad idea. I learned the hard way the pitfalls of picking out the wrong outdoor climbing equipment.

We all enjoy camping out under the stars and pale moon. Am I right or am I right? There's not a human being alive that doesn't adore a good bout with Mother Nature. Just lounging by the campfire, singing a tune and soaking up the peace and quiet. Alright, I admit that there may be a few folks that don't enjoy the outdoors. As for the rest of us, we need that relaxing break from the "real world" chaos and stress. And with the right outdoor camping equipment, a trip up into the wilderness can be an utter blast.
